About Pikini

Hi, we're Pikini

Made by Women
Who Got Tired of Sitting Out.

Designed in Vancouver for beach days everywhere.

Our Mission

To give women back the week of summer they lose every month.

No tampons. No fear of leaks. No missed beach days. Just a bikini that looks like the one you already love, with five engineered layers underneath that nobody can see.

A love letter

To the summers we lost.

We're Charlene and Bon, partners in life and in Pikini. It started with Charlene cancelling a girls' trip to Mexico in 2023 because she'd be on day 2. She cried in the airport bathroom about it. That was the moment we realized how absurd it was that an entire generation of women had been quietly editing summer out of their lives for one week a month.

Charlene sketched the first Pikini on the flight home, the visionary, the designer, the one who knew exactly what the bikini she wished existed should look and feel like. Bon, a materials engineer by training, started prototyping the lining the next morning. Five layers, 2.4mm thin, lab-tested and PFAS-free. That became the engineered heart of Pikini.

Eighteen months, 112 prototypes, and 12 brave testers later, what you see today is the version they all said yes to. Charlene runs design and the brand vision. Bon runs materials and marketing. Together, we run Pikini out of a small studio in East Vancouver.

This brand is for the testers, and for everyone who's ever sat on a beach towel pretending to read a book while their friends were in the water.

What We Stand For

Four things, non-negotiable.

Honest by Default

No buried disclaimers, no ingredient gymnastics. If it's in our bikini, it's on our website.

Lab-Tested, Every Batch

We don't test the prototype and call it good. Every drop is verified PFAS-free before it ships.

Small on Purpose

312 sets per drop. Recycled fabric. Compostable mailers. No warehouses full of dead inventory.

Made for Real Bodies

Tested on bodies 24A to 36DD by paid fit models. Not the same one over and over.

How We Got Here

    Latest Drop, Live

312 sets across five colorways, brought to life by our partners in Asia, designed with our hearts and minds in Vancouver, BC.

The lining

Five layers, one quiet promise.

The part nobody sees is the part we obsess over. Our gusset is 2.4mm of engineered fabric, a recycled outer, a wicking layer, an absorbent core, a leak-lock barrier, and a soft inner.

Every batch is independently lab-tested for PFAS before it ships. No greenwashing, no half-truths, no "we tested the prototype" nonsense.

Behind Pikini

Meet the hands that make it.

Every Pikini set is brought to life by our manufacturing partner in Asia, a small, family-run facility that specializes in technical swimwear. They've spent decades perfecting the cut-and-sew craft, and they're the only team we trusted to handle our five-layer lining without compromise.

The Partnership

Three Years In

We visited the factory floor before signing a single PO. Met the team, watched the stitch, tested the lining ourselves. It took 112 prototypes to get one we'd put our name on.

The Standard

Fair, Safe, Audited

Our partner operates under independently audited labor and safety standards. Fair wages, regulated hours, and a clean facility, these are our non-negotiables.

The Craft

Small Batch, By Design

312 sets per drop. Every gusset is sewn and inspected by hand, then every batch is lab-tested for PFAS before it leaves the facility. No shortcuts, no overproduction.
